Wait For The Lord

Beloved:

Life has a way of wearing us down. The busyness, the stress, the disappointments, and challenges all contribute to us needing refreshment for our souls. I would wager my faith that we all have been there. But what do we do when we find ourselves in that place? 

David had an interesting take on the issue as his answer in a word was “wait.” Not simply wait until things turn around but wait for the Lord. David knew that God was able to deliver him from any predicament and that real and meaningful change would come from Him.

This is a great reminder for us when we find things chiefly out of kilter and it begins to wear on our souls. Take David’s advice; Don’t Just Sit There, Wait!
